After graduating from Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, Nick worked in oil and gas, transportation and utilities industries.

Dr. Paul Tiege is the Manager of Applied Research and Innovation at the College of the Rockies. Dr. Tiege has over 20 years of pure and applied research experience in agriculture, chemistry and the life sciences, including project management and business development.

Chris joined Cominco (now Teck Metals) as an Engineer in Training and has progressed through various roles in process engineering, research, metallurgy and technology, business development, and operations management.

Lorri comes to KAST with over 25 years of experience in innovation, administration and system change. She is currently the CEO of the Columbia Lake Technology Center, developing out a large industrial land base to support technology, trades and rural economic development.

Jason supports the development and implementation of the MIDAS facility in Trail, BC where he is currently working in applied research, program development and supporting community and industry members.

Jonathan is a physicist and problem solver with over 15 years of research experience at Dalhousie University, Université du Québec à Montréal, McGill University, and Environment and Climate Change Canada
