Dr. Paul Tiege is the Manager of Applied Research and Innovation at the College of the Rockies. Dr. Tiege has over 20 years of pure and applied research experience in agriculture, chemistry and the life sciences, including project management and business development.
Chris Botterill is the President and Founder of Genex Marketing Agency Ltd. He joins the board of KAST in transition as a director from the board of KRIC, the innovation council representing the East Kootenay region.
Lorri comes to KAST with over 25 years of experience in innovation, administration and system change. She is currently the CEO of the Columbia Lake Technology Center, developing out a large industrial land base to support technology, trades and rural economic development.
Kathleen Ayre is a freelance grant writer and administrative professional with over twenty years working experience in post-secondary institutions, research, technology and innovation nonprofits.
Sam Farrell combines his deep background in business and entrepreneurship with his personal passion for science and technology to maximize the potential of the East Kootenays.
Michelle Spencer is a data analyst with the BC Centre for Disease Control, where she spends her days wrangling large datasets and contributing to health research.
Shelina Musaji studied Medicine at the University of Toronto with a subsequent residency in Family Medicine at the University of Western Ontario and a Master of Public Health Degree from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
