KAST and the Trail & District Chamber of Commerce is bringing the Kootenays' entrepreneurial spirit to the big screen with the BroadKAST Film Festival, an evening of short films, lively conversation, and community connection at the incredible Royal Theatre.
This event shines a spotlight on the Kootenays’ vibrant innovation culture. Six entrepreneurs from KAST’s Venture Acceleration Program (VAP) share their personal journeys in entrepreneurship—what it really takes to build a business, a career, and a life in the region. Their stories offer a rare, candid look at the challenges and triumphs of growing a company in a rural innovation ecosystem.
