This six-month program will connect you to established companies’ leadership teams with experienced mentors to help you tackle the big issues and get you back on track.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
KAST delivers the RevUp program with support from the National Research Council’s Industrial Research Assistance Program and Accelerate Okanagan.
KAST is a member of the BC Acceleration Network which is made up of 12 regional and sectoral technology accelerators from which we can pull Entrepreneur-in-Residence expertise to meet your growing company’s specific needs.
Not only will we come up with a specific plan of action for your company to solve pain points and address your company’s opportunities and challenges, we will develop a scope of work that will focus on overcoming the biggest challenges of your business over the six-month program.
You’ll also take part in targeted workshops and have access to a community of like-minded people where you support and share with each other in a safe and confidential environment.
Eligibility:
Ideal RevUp clients are growing companies making a new technology product in sectors like clean technology, agricultural technology, life sciences, information & communications (software) and advanced manufacturing.
KAST’s service area covers the Kootenay and Boundary regions, including Revelstoke.

The following criteria serve as general eligibility guidelines:
- Your company must have earnings of $500,000 or more annually.
- You have $500,000 in place in revenue or investment.
- You are a founder, cofounder, or CEO of the company.
- You have a management team in place or are assembling a management team.
- You are ambitious and committed to the program.
- You have technology** or innovation-based ventures based in British Columbia or contemplating moving to British Columbia.
- You are bringing new technology** products or tech-based innovations to market or you are working to improve the success of existing technology products or tech-based innovations.
**Definition of “Technology: products and productized services with engineering attributes in advanced communications technologies, digital media and web, electronics design and manufacturing, software development, mechanical and industrial technologies and/or other advanced engineering disciplines.
