FortisBC is seeking public input as we develop an Integrated System Plan (ISP). The ISP will look ahead 20 years to identify the energy and infrastructure needs of our customers — then set out a five-year business plan to meet these needs.

Doug Chadwick, author of ”The Wolverine Way”, will give a fun and informative lecture in Nelson on Feb 16, 7 PM at the Nelson Untied Church. The book is about the wolverine project in Glacier National Park, Montana, where an extensive multi-year wolverine project is underway and where Doug has volunteered a ton of his time.

Export Development Canada (EDC), in partnership with Canadian banks has developed an important new service for Canadian hi-tech companies that qualify for Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SRED) rebates. The objective of the Export Guarantee Program is to get funds back into companies' hands sooner.
