Quantum Leaps presenter Karin discusses her design work with Disney
Posted November 5th, 2009 by Amber HayesKarin Johnson:
I enrolled in the Graphic and Digital Media Design course at the Centre of Arts and Technology the following year. I have always been a very artistic and visual person, so I was excited to explore that side of the computer world and combine it with my technical skills. Only weeks after graduating from that program I was hired as a web developer for the Disney Company. I am still working for this exciting and amazing company, and I'm loving every minute of it.
Karin was a guest at the KAST Quantum Leaps event which was designed to introduce West Kootenay Grade 9-12 girls to career opportunities in Science and Technology. The event was organized by the Kootenay Association for Science & Technology www.kast.com
